“100 Years of Innovation” – A theme journey by Drees & Sommer at PHOENIX CONTACT Deutschland

The Center Smart Commercial Building  is very pleased to have been part of the “100 Years of Innovation” theme dialog in Blomberg and Bad Pyrmont at PHOENIX CONTACT Deutschland GmbH as part of the Drees & Sommer  Theme Journey 2023.

The “People Process Places” Theme Journey is a dialog initiative by Drees & Sommer in which aspects of analog and digital transformation are discussed each year at different locations in collaboration with numerous theme trip partners, idea and host companies.

PHOENIX CONTACT Deutschland GmbH, the host of the “100 Years of Innovation” theme dialog, is committed to the All Electric Society and aims to meet the world’s energy needs from sustainable, renewable sources. Together with companies and organizations from various industries, this theme trip discussed how this vision can be implemented.

How the future image of the All Electric Society can become reality through real applications and meaningful simulations is vividly conveyed in the All Electric Society Park of PHOENIX CONTACT Deutschland GmbH. Our Head of Innovation Projects Alexandra Köther and our Center Manager Dr. Denis Krechting were able to visit this park on the first day of the theme trip and gathered many great impressions there.

A highlight of the second day were various discussion rounds in which the participants shared their knowledge and experiences on different topics in the fields of sustainability as well as energy and real estate management. Our Center Manager Dr. Denis Krechting took part in the discussion panel “Sustainable energy supply of cities and neighborhoods” and presented his perspectives. He focused on the role digitalization can play in energy distribution and savings in buildings.

It was an interesting two days with inspiring discussions and valuable insights. It is great to see two partners of our network working together to share and discuss innovative ideas and solution approaches for sustainable energy supply.
