About the RWTH Certificate Course “Digital Real Estate Manager”
With advancing digitalization, the strategic and operational requirements for project developers, real estate portfolio managers and corporates are changing. Data and information generated from real estate operations are increasingly becoming a success factor and form the basis for asset and corporate real estate management of the future. At the operational level, this development demands new skills for real estate management. Successful handling of digitization is becoming a key qualification at the strategic level.
In order to successfully develop and manage portfolios and individual assets in the future, profound knowledge of the economic potential, the development of new business models and the evaluation of investments is just as necessary as knowledge of digital twin concepts and data analytics in real estate management. In addition, the principles of IT security (cybersecurity), data management, building IoT and IoT managed services and legal requirements must be known.
In a 6-day course, we teach the skills for the future of digital real estate management. The program with top-class speakers from business and science includes both theoretical content and practice-oriented case study work. In this way, you will be comprehensively qualified for your future tasks with the necessary basics and applicable practical knowledge. The course is certified by the RWTH Aachen International Academy and concludes with a certificate from the RWTH Aachen Academy.
Aim of the course
As part of the “Digital Real Estate Manager” certificate course, you will gain valuable expertise in the operation of digital buildings through numerous lectures by experts from industry and research. You will learn which current trends and developments are prevalent in the real estate industry and obtain the necessary tools to build up and actively promote data- and platform-based services in your properties in the future.
After successful participation in the course, you will be able to quickly recognize and evaluate the potential of new technologies and services based on them and to initiate the appropriate measures for implementing the service in your operating real estate. You will have learned how to develop a targeted digitization strategy and design a viable business model. Venue and dates
The course will take place at the RWTH Aachen Campus in the Smart Logistics Cluster (Campus-Boulevard 55, 52074 Aachen, Germany) and consists of three modules:
Module I: September 05 – 06 2023.
Module II: October 17 – 18, 2023
Module III: November 21 – 23, 2023 (exam day: November 23).
Costs and registration
The regular participation fee is € 4,900 plus VAT. Enrolled members of the Center Smart Commercial Building receive a 40% discount.
