Smart Building Solutions 2023

Natural disasters, species extinction & water scarcity due to global warming – action must be taken. The real estate industry plays a decisive role here, as it generates 40% of CO2 emissions worldwide. The vast majority of all properties have long since been built and investments in modernization and conversion must be planned.

The pressure on the industry from requirements and regulation will become ever greater. The focus of this year’s Smart Building Solutions symposium was therefore on the future of existing buildings and how digitalization can make them more ecologically sustainable and economical at the same time. The event offered two days of high-caliber presentations by industry experts, networking opportunities and a forum for start-ups, PropTechs and exhibitors.
