28 & 29 November 2023 in Aachen: The future of the stock
Natural disasters, species extinction & water scarcity due to global warming – we must act now! The real estate industry plays a decisive role here, because 40% of CO2 emissions worldwide are generated by it. Yet the vast majority of all real estate has long since been built and investments in modernization and conversion must be planned. The pressure on the industry from requirements and regulation will become ever stronger.
The focus of this year’s “Smart Building Solutions” conference is therefore on the future of existing buildings and how they can be made more ecologically sustainable and economical at the same time through digitization:
How can real estate be assessed in terms of energy efficiency and how do we deal with stranded assets?
Which technologies enable energy-efficient retrofitting in existing buildings?
The SBS, which has been held annually since 2019 in Aachen at the RWTH Aachen Campus, has set itself the goal of bringing together decision-makers from the real estate industry, property owners, technology providers and PropTechs to answer these questions and discuss possible solutions.
This year, you can look forward to two days full of highly qualified lectures, top speakers from politics, industry and science, panels, startup and exhibitor pitches, as well as the evening event in the event location Belvedere above the roofs of Aachen.
This year’s speakers include:
